Your Brand Must Reflect Your Story

One of the most important elements of a great brand is that it reflects its owner's story.

From the message itself to the color palette, fonts, and designs used to share and express it, your brand must say and feel YOU and YOUR STORY.

For example, let’s dive into my LetLoveGlow Brand…

LetLoveGlow was originally about me as a Self-Published International Bestselling Author lighting the path (there’s the “glow” element) for everyone with a book of their heart (there’s the “love” element) that they’d love to publish and share with the world (there are the books and laptops and coffee elements you often see in my branded graphics).

In addition, I’ve always used fonts and messages and design elements that reflect that “glow with love” look and feel - so, neon glowing fonts and hearts and lots of lit-up lanterns.

Feel me and what I’m after here for LetLoveGlow?

To take this further, I’ve chosen color palettes of pinks and earthy browns and lots of glowing whites and golden yellows. I’ve used artsy fonts since I’m a book designer, illustrator and formatter as well.

My bylines on my graphics and my email signatures too always tell my story as well. (Lots of times along with a photo of me.) They let you all know that I’m an International Bestselling Author. That I’m a Self-Publishing Coach, Branding and Community-Building Expert, Social Media Content Creator, Website Designer, Podcast Producer and more.

And then, when you click on the link to my online stores and website, you see the expanded, full version of my story and journey to-date...again, all in my branded look and feel.
